Selçuk Soyluoğlu was born in 1959 in Istanbul and completed his secondary education in the Military High School of Kuleli, and then, graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry of the Aegean University. He got married to Ms. Füsun in 1984 and the couple had a child (daughter) out of this marriage, called Zeynep. He firstly worked at the Military Airbase of Erhaç between the years of 1985-1990 as a Flight Doctor and afterwards, however, as a dentist at the Hospital of the Social Insurance Institution (SSK). Mr. Soyluoğlu lived in the United States of America during the years of 1990-1996 and practiced his profession there, and subsequently, completed an implant program, organized by the NYU Dental School and Brookdale Hospital and was awarded with the title of Oral Implantologist. He engaged in the management of the Dental Clinics of Aksaray Vatan Hospital, Dünya Tıp Merkezi (World Medical Center) and Candan Hospital between 1996-1998. He opened up a field of employment for his colleagues over twenty. Mr. Soyluoğlu has kept offering his services to his patients as a Dentist since 2017 at his private clinic in Bodrum District of Muğla.

EDUCATION

• 1995 – 1996 Awarded with the Specialty of Implant from the Oral Implantology program, jointly organized by the Faculty of Dentistry of NYU and Brookdale Hospital.

• 1994 – 1995 Awarded with the certificate from the program related to the Noblepharma-Breanemark Implant system.

• 1990 – 1996 Attended in the NY Greater Meeting’ every year; Acquired knowledge and information about pertaining technical developments, new products and their fields of utilization; participated in various seminars and applied courses during the meeting.

• 1991 – 1992 Completed an Advanced English language program at the Rutgers University, New Jersey, USA (P.A.L.S.).

• 1983 – 1984 Served duty as a research fellow of the Major Surgery at the Faculty of Dentistry of the Aegean University.

• 2017 - Current Period : Private Practice Bodrum

• 1997 – 2015 Offered mouth and dental health services at the clinic, owned by Soyluoğlu Sağlık Hizmetleri Ltd.Şti., that is located in Avcılar – Istanbul. Furthermore, the Endodontists, Periodontolog and Orthodontists offered their services to the patients at this clinic within the scope of their specialty.

• 1997 – 1998 Candan Hospital, Avcılar, Istanbul

• 1997 - 1998 Aksaray Vatan Hospital, Aksaray, Istanbul
  Managed the dental clinics and offered dental services at this hospital. The services were offered there with two dentists during the daytime and three separate dentists (in turn) at nighttime.

• 1996 – 1997 Founder partner of the World Medical Center (Dünya Tıp Merkezi) Istanbul.
  Worked at and operated the dental clinic at the Medical center during a period of one year. Services were offered there with two dentists during the daytime and three separate dentists (in turn) at nighttime. Taken up the duty of responsible director during an annual period.

• 1994 – 1996 Operated the Clinic where three dentists, one secretary, one hygienist and one assistant, as a Chief Dentist at one of two clinics belonging to  M. Dikengil DDS at the Jersey City Dental Clinic, New Jersey, US and worked at that clinic as a dentist actively.

• 1993 – 1995 Dr. T.J. Emmer, New Jersey, USA
  Worked as a dentist at the clinic of Dr. T.J. Emmer, one of the Associates of the     Denture Prosthesis Department at the UMDNJ; especially taken up the     responsibility of implants and dentures.

• 1985 – 1990 Worked as a dentist at the Dental Treatment and Prosthesis center of the Social Insurance Institution (SSK) Hospital of Malatya.

• 1984 – 1990 Practiced his profession at his clinic in Malatya.

• 1984 – 1985 Erhaç Airbase, Malatya, Turkey.
  Worked as a dentist at the Health Department under the title of the Flight Doctor; awarded by the Commander of the Airbase with the Excellence in Profession Award at the end of his specialist reserve duty as a result of the services so offered (conduct of dental screening of all flight personnel, stepping in computer filing system).

• Member of EDAD (Association of the Academy of Aesthetical Dentistry): Attended in a major (international) conference and 8 local (Istanbul) meetings for 14 years and become a spokesman in some of these meetings

• Member of OSSADER (Osseo-integration Association): Attended in a major (international) conference and 3 local (Istanbul) meetings for the last nine years.

• Ancylosis Implant study group: Conducted a meeting in the second Wednesday of every month with relation to the up-to-date implant technology with a group of dentists consisting of 16 individuals and become a spokesman at these meetings.

• SR IVOCAP System Course: Attended in the course of a system envisaging the acrylic finishing and dying process with the injection system in dentures. Conducted the application of the foregoing for years.

• “Group Study” related to the Linear Occlusion in Dentures. Study”:
  Attended in the “group studies”, organized by the support of Swissdent and Ivoclar Firms on linear occlusion that is applied in implant over dentures being on the agenda again in the USA in recent years.

• Office Management Course: Attended in a separate course pertaining to the general dentistry and management of prosthesis specialty offices.

• Silent Knight Course: Attended in a course related to the snoring apparatuses and their applications were practiced by him.
